Unhandled Exception: System.OutOfMemoryException
I keep getting an error saying "Unhandled Exception" and after closing it several times Monodevelop crashes.
When expanded the error log reads: System.OutOfMemoryException: Exception of type 'System.OutOfMemoryException' was thrown.

You should have a line explaining where is your error. If you don't give us the part of your code containing this error line, we can't help you...
If you mean what I had coded so far, then it was just a simple control scheme:
using UnityEngine; using System.Collections;
public class $$anonymous$$oving : $$anonymous$$onoBehaviour {
// Use this for initialization
void Start () {
}
public float speediness = 10f;
// Update is called once per frame
void Update ()
{
if(Input.Get$$anonymous$$ey($$anonymous$$eyCode.UpArrow))
transform.Translate(Vector3.forward * speediness * Time.deltaTime);
if(Input.Get$$anonymous$$ey($$anonymous$$eyCode.RightArrow))
transform.Rotate(Vector3.up * speediness * Time.deltaTime);
}
} Also, right before it crashes a message box appears that says:
Gtk-WARNING (recursed) **; GtkContainerClass::remove not implemented for `gtksharp_22$$anonymous$$onoDevelop_Components_Docking_DockContainer' Aborting...
Don't you have a variable somewhere that is a list or something like that ? It seems that your error is pointing a problem in a graphic widget (user interface widget for example).
The errors log should tell you where the problem is : number of the line, or if you double click on the first error, it points the line where the problem occured. This line may not be the problem (it could occure before) but it is a start to understand it.
I'm not really sure where to look exactly. i just don't understand why I'm getting this error. I mean, I recently just installed Unity and that was the only script in the scene.
When you open unity for the first time there is no existing scene. You may have opened a project, if it is an example project, you may tell us its name.
If not, and if this scene is not relevant to you, don't bother looking further ...
