Save and load data with Javascript...

Hello there. Could anyone give help / code / advise for saving a file and then being able to load it back when playing the .exe again with Javascript. I know its going to be playing with System.IO, but I'm only a rookie coder so this is slightly out of my depth! Say for example I wanted to save a simple String and then load it again...?

Any help appreciated!!

Thank you.
