uninstall my unity pro?

if i uninstalled my unity pro on my computer, did i just free the space for the maximum amount of computer it can be installed on? i'm thinking of buying a new computer and i'm installing it on a old computer because i want to get working with it right away. however, i don't want to remain using my current computer forever.
