Problem with Blender and animation.
Hello i have a model in Blender that animates its tank tracks when it moves forwards/backwards and rotates. I was wondering if there was a way to export the model with these animation parameters or if it would just be easier to export the model and animate it in Unity. Thanks for the help.
Yep, we all made that basic tank with array modifiers etc and were all cut down when we found out that most people cheat with a moving texture.
On that note, someone found that Array modifier works in Unity now (?!) so perhaps you can find a way.
Blender Drivers, on the other hand are not supported I do believe.

I believe that it would be best to export the object without its animation, but with bones, if you can, because I believe that Unity animation needs bones. Proceed to animate in Unity. I have two tutorials about basic animations and bones that taught me my animation in Unity. I think you may find it useful.
