Unable to open new unity project due to compiler errors?
I recently got a new laptop and downloaded unity on it. I wanted to start a new project but it prompts me with a notification every time that reads the following :
The project your are trying to open contains compilation errors. Entering Safe Mode allows you to resolve these errors without waiting for the rest of your project to import. If you select Ignore (not recommended), your project will continue to import, but it may be broken or in an unusable state.
When I enter Safe Mode it shows hundreds of compiler errors in the console. I already tried resetting packages to default and I already updated all the packages in the Window tab.
This error message prompts on every project I try on my new laptop. I am fairly new to developing with unity so I am unsure how to approach this problem. Please let me know what I can do to fix this. If you need any other information just reply below I'll get back to you.
Can you put up a screenshot of some of the errors? Also are you using the newest version of Unity? Sometimes Unity can give you random errors that have nothing to do with you.
