Stealth PlayerMovement script is disabled when previewing game

I'm running through the Stealth project and have just completed the PlayerMovement script. When I press the play button the script becomes disabled and I cannot move the character around the screen. If I open the Done scene everything works fine. Something is causing Unity to disable this script.
