Using play-games-plugin-for-unity in signed release
After successfully implementing and testing play-games-plugin-for-unity I changed the app to release mode by using a signed release key (I also changed the package name, but I did that everywhere so I didn't think that would matter). Building and uploading to the dev console works fine. I also linked the services to a new app, but when I test this version of the app I can no longer log into google play services. It gives the following message
Did anyone else encounter this issue? And what is the solution? If you need any more information please let me know. It took me the better part of last night to not get anywhere with this and I am on the point of just starting over with integration altogether. I hope that is not necessary..

I don't understand why, but I made a totally new play game services "game" (entry) with the same linked app (had to delete the old because you cant have duplicate links, which shows it was correctly linked) and it works fine. If I find what the problem was I will share it.
