CheckGPUProgramUsable

I just bought Road Architect and when I try to add a road I get many errors saying "CheckGPUProgramUsable" and a few shader errors as well.

The machine that I am having the problems with is running windows 8 and I have the most up to date drivers for my graphics card as well. I am trying to see if anyone else is having the same problem or if anyone know what is the cause.
