Any way to use a 3D mouse in Unity?
I just bought a SpaceNavigator, assuming it would work in unity. It hasn't come in yet, but I decided to learn more about it before hand. Come to find out Unity provides no native support for a 3d mouse. I find this strange, as getting around the scene view seems more labored than I'd like. I found 3D Through on the asset store but it's not compatible with Unity 5. Are there any external means to getting a 3d Mouse to work?

So the mouse is from 3Dconnexion (as I see)? Last time I've worked with support of their mouses for one project in .net they have got an .net dll for that use (TDx.TDxInput.dll). I don't really remember if it was within their SDK or not, and quite some time has passed so I can't guarantee that they haven't deprecated it or changed its name, nevertheless you can download their SDK THERE if it won't be there then try to use search on THEIR FORUM. Well just look into that, if you'll be able to stick it to your project then configuration and usage should be relatively easy (if you've worked with any input device SDK before).
P.S. I've googled for almost 5 seconds and found that they've even made driver for Unity. Just go by the link and get it, if there will be some problems with using it under Unity 5 then ask question about it ;)
Haha that's embarrassing, I'm a stickler for people who don't use google.
Thanks for the effort!
