Here's a basic function that takes a string separated by ;
and converts each element between ;
into an array element.
// example WWW return data format: a;b;c;d;e;f; (etc, ;-separated)
function wwwStr2Array(str:String){ var arrData:Array; // array to store your data in arrData = new Array();
var arr:Array;
arr = new Array();
arr = str.Split(";"[0]); // each field separated by ;
var i:int;
for(i=0;i<arr.length;i++){
arrData[i]=arr[i];
}
}
