editorbuildcontrollertriggerscontrols
Controller axes (specifically the triggers) work in-editor but not in build?
For school, we're making a racing game and one of the biggest pieces of feedback we've gotten is to change the controls to a more modern style, using the triggers to accelerate. We've attempted to do this but came across the problem in the title of this post. In the build (but not in the editor), the players can control each others acceleration. For example, player 3's accelerate button also accelerates player 2. Is this a bug in Unity? Am I doing something wrong in the Input Manager?
Looking for any solutions or information at this point. I'll be happy to post pictures of our Input Manager for debugging purposes. We're working in Unity 2017.3 and mainly using Xbox One controllers.
