Sprites become blurry after automatic slice
I have a sprite sheet with more then one components for my pixel game. However, when i use the automatic slicer, the resulting sprites have smooth and blurred edges, not the hard edges i was expecting. Anyone have any tips to try and maintain the pixel art style?

You most likely need to change the filtering from Bilinear to Point, and you may need to change the texture format from Compressed to 16bit or even Truecolor (although that will raise the disc-space requirements of the image, proportionally to its size)
What got me is that in the inspector preview for the sprite the edges where blurry even with these settings but onces in the scene it is no longer blurry.
it took me a while to realise this.

Check the size of the imported file against settings in the texture's inspector. In the inspector you will see: Texture type : sprite Sprite mode: multiple
etc etc
And then it will have
Max Size: ?????
Make the max size the same as imported file size.

I made a video tutorial about hard pixel shaders, just ignore the scripting part - Youtube
(I am not sure if this counts as bad self promotion, please let me know if Ive done anything wrong and I will remove the post)
