How to create a custom Game Settings window
I have a prefab that contains some global game settings component in my game. It's mostly to enable/disable some debug code. What I currently do is select the prefab, lock the inspector, create a new inspector and use the second for everything else. This way, the first inspector always has my prefab selected and I can enable/disable things quickly.
However, I have to do this every time I open Unity, because it doesn't remember what the locked inspector had selected.
So, what I want to do is have a custom window that basically "selects" the prefab so I can keep that window open for ever and it will always show the game settings even when I close and open Unity.
Any ideas on how to do this?
I was looking for a way for a custom window to seach all prefabs in the assets, but couldn't find one. I don't want to place the prefab in a Resources folder because, well, frankly, it shouldn't be there.
Thnaks in advance.
