Shader similar to Skyrim enchanted weapons
Hi there,
I recently bought Skyrim and I really loved the shaders they use on enchanted weapons. I was wondering if a similar shader could be made for Unity? It seems like a secondary semi-transparent texture just rolls over the main texture.. I guess this shouldn't be too hard to achieve?
As I'm not familiar with programming shaders, is there anyone who can tell me how to achieve a similar effect?
Thanks in advance

Actually it's kinda hard programming shaders like that but you can use different tacticts to achieve that. For example if you are interested in & good at particles, you can make some new particle effects around your sword like that. If you insist on creating shaders like that, I think that would be helpful : http://www.unifycommunity.com/wiki/index.php?title=Shaders
thanks for the reply, I actually got more or less what I wanted just by adding 2 materials to the object and attaching a texture offset script that only affects the second texture. I guess I don't need a shader after all :) but thx anyway ;)
