Can I improve the resolution quality of a photosphere applied as texture to a 3d sphere gameobject?
I'm experimenting with Google Cardboard and I'm trying to make a photosphere viewer app. I've edited the sample scene by removing he ground surface and cube and positioning a sphere centred on the camera position. I've applied a photosphere as a texture to the sphere with a default sprite shader. It works fine, but the image is noticeably blocky.
Can anyone tell me how to go about improving the image resolution? I'm new to this and I'm likely going about it the wrong way... Thanks.
Hi _david
I am trying to make a similar photosphere viewer app, and am new to unity. Can you help me with a tutorial link or a sample app that i could learn from? - Need to do the same things you wrote - i.e edit the sample scene etc etc.

Not sure if your issue is the same as the one here:

But if so, there's an answer there that might help.
