Native visual scripting?
Visual scripting is the most important feature for me. I know there are plugins like playmaker and uscript but it's not the same. All concurents have it(blueprints in ue4 and flowgraph in cryengine)! I know there was no visual scripting in unity 5 features but i still hoping! Does anyone know when (if unity team develops it of course!) unity will have native visual scripting?! P.S. Sorry for my bad english :P
I'll probably get flamed for this, but my honest guess is never. The visual scripting is really a niche market, and they are most likely going to continue targeting broad market features for the pro licensed companies, which scripting is one. That's not to say visual scripting is unprofessional by any means. All I mean is that the companies that can afford pro licenses can also afford to pay programmers. With the wonderful visual script assets already offered on the store too, they really don't have a good reason (i.e. brings in money) to do it. If you are really curious, you should contact Unity support. They always respond. $$anonymous$$aybe they have a different take, this is just my opinion.
Yeah but they've released native 2d tools despite 2d toolkit asset and they announced new gui system (there's ngui asset).
Ok i've contacted unity support. I hope to get answers. Thanks for answer!
