App restarts Android device on launch
Hi! Today I was working on my App on Unity 4 and everything was working fine on my Samsung SIII mini with Android 4.1.2 until I added new sprites and new animation and implemented them to game. Then, when I tried to build it on Android, I got Unity splash screen and after that phone just shuts down and restarts. I don't get any errors in Unity and Desktop build is working whitout any problems as well.
Any ideas what causes restart on phone?
your phone is probly missing out of memory and then the OS crash. Try it on a phone with more memory... or try reducing texture size and/or compressing them

Well I'm no expert(believe me), but have you tried to play your game on another phone? To see if it restarts? Just an idea. Oh and you might of changed something on accident. I don't know what I'm saying. It happens to me a lot so it may happen to you too.
Ok, it works on phone with more memory. What can I do to reduce memory usage? It's simple 2D game but when I run it on my computer it use over 1000$$anonymous$$B memory, how is that possible?
$$anonymous$$y guess would be to either A. Get rid of things on your phone so that it gets more memory to play your game. B. Try what PouletFrit said and reduce texture size or compress them. C. $$anonymous$$ake your game for only the Ipad and Desktop.
There's this game on the app store called Sonic Dash. I have it on my Ipod but I can't play it anymore since my memory has gotten more used(I put more songs on it), but many people around the world can play it. So there's no problem with a high memory usage game. $$anonymous$$any people will still be able to play and enjoy it. If people want to play your game(that is if your going to put it out for the world to play), then they'll have to get rid of some of there stuff in order to play it(which again is completely fine).
