Why is this one animation rotating in a weird way?
I am using Mecanim. I have a model with 4 animations. The first three I added and made a controller for work fine. The model goes between walking, idling, and jumping as expected. The latest animation I added for gliding is different. It plays much too fast, and as it plays the model slowly rotates about the Y axis.
Apply root motion is off in the animator, and the import settings are the same for all the animations. The animation looks absolutely fine in the animation import preview window. I've tried different combinations of enabling root transform position and root transform rotation with no results.
Why is this one animation behaving differently from the others?

Got it sorted out. The rotation was because apply root rotation needed to be based on original (woops thought I tried that) and the weird speed was because it was looping and the transition out of it was set to exit time = 0.4 so it was only playing the first few frames of the animation. I would have thought that exit time would only apply to the last loop. Sorry to bother everyone!
