How do I make an imported object opaque when one side is transparent?
I have imported an .fbx object (a bed) that I downloaded from www.turbosquid.com and when I import it into Unity, the top sheet is transparent on the top side but opaque (with the color) on the under side. How do I make the sheet opaque on both sides?
This is an unusual one and I thank any answers I might get. Tom
It sounds like reversed normals. If the sheet has its own material, then you can create a shader and disable culling (but I wouldn't recommend that) to show the texture on both sides. You probably more likely want to fix the normals, not sure if Unity has a built in "invert normals" or "reverse normals" for the FBX import, so you may have to use a modeling program.
