How to delete a specific part of a text word?
Since this can be a little hard to explain by words, here's two links of what I'm trying to achieve.
I have my text like this: https://prnt.sc/11vz0l2
And I wanted it to be like this: https://prnt.sc/11vz0x8
I've done some research on masking but I'm not sure how to achieve a similar result.
It's even harder to understand with the images..
What do you mean by
I have my text like this:
Is it a Text Component? Is it a Font..?
Secondly, the only difference between those images are their scale.. Just resize..
I do it all the time when I download a texture that is not POT..
I don't think he means the scale but the space between te|xt in the second picture :D But yeah, if you could tell us what kind of component you are using to render your text we might be able to help out a little better :)
Oh, sorry guys, my bad! Yeah, I used an example made in Photoshop, but I have the text written with the Text Component in Unity. My idea is to cut out a specific part of the characters in the first picture, like the space between the|xt in the second one. My current idea is to make a transparent sprite and hide the space I want but I wanted to know if there's a more efficient way of doing it.
Thanks for the interest btw :)

this can be done by altering the font you use for the text. you need to change it so there is no line there. you edit the font with a font editor
