Possible MultiChannel Audio composer software?
Hi, I was wondering if Unity supports or any other programming way to use Unity for creating a composing software application. I chose Unity because I thought it could be easy to have a good UI interface AND also cross platform executable file (despite of speed)
I had a question regarding audio setup.
I want to know if there is anyway to handle/control/play multi-channel output. such that each speaker channel plays one stack/track.
Is it possible to merge those tracks into one wave file and export to save? Will it still carry the channel information from multitrack composing?
Maybe this should be the first point, but Does Unity supports ASIO?
I guess these questions would be the core to create the composing software. Please feel free to add any ideas if you have one.

Some time ago, the creator of this audio engine was asking for collaborators - worth getting in touch?
