Why is this outline diffuse shader making the scene darker than the regular diffuse shader?
I toggle this shader on and off on certain objects to outline them using Shader.Find(). However, when I switch to this shader all of the colors get much darker. Light grey goes to dark grey etc. I don't know much about shader code so I was wondering if anyone could tell me why this is happening. Any help would be much appreciated.

The only changes I made were to the render queue to make it "Transparent-1" so particles could render over it.
EDIT: Also it seems that the outline shader is affected by darkening the alpha channel while the regular diffuse shader is not.
