How to list all windows processes in Javascript and kill a specific one
Hello,
I'm hoping someone will put me out of my misery and be able to help me with my query.
Basically, I want to kill a specific windows process, e.g., VBoxSDL when unity is running. As I understand it I need to do a search of all the processes and kill each occurrence or is there any way of killing it by name?
Background is I start a vm call using a .bat file which launches VboxSDL and presents a vm client to the user (it's part of a crime scene search training program). I want to ensure that the VM is closed down when the user is finished searching that room. I can't do a process.Kill () as the process is a .bat file (which finishes quickly anyway) and the process I want to kill is VBoxSDL.exe.
Is there anyone who can provide a routine in Javascript to help me with my predicament?
Kind regards, Al
