Why does using a second animation layer not work with animation rigging?
Animation rigging doesn't support multiple animation layers when animating entirely in the editor. For example my character has no baked animation simply a skinned mesh and skeletal system. I then procede to make a standard rig in unity with animation rigging pipeline. IK legs and arms FK spine and assign some aim at constraints for the spine and head.
Animations work 100% fine when using only a single animation layer, but adding any additional layers breaks everything. I have tried every combination of settings on the layer and import settings I can think of and nothing seems to change the behaviour.
It seems that adding a new layer for some reason causes the character to go into the default bind pose even when there is an animation in the state, any help on this would be great.
