Upload blender files to asset store
I imported a .blend file into Unity and it works fine, but now when I try to upload it to the asset store, suddenly unity can't handle this. Do I need to convert the .blend file to .fbx? And how should I do this?
Thanks

I'm not familiar with the file formats so I can't say if there is a reason why people don't use .blend files, but people tend to use FBX. In Blender under the file menu there is an option to export, then as FBX. Be sure not to export lights or cameras.
Also, please don't upload bad quality assets, there are too many already.
I can export from blender, it's just that then I need to check a lot of variables to make the rotations and scales uniform with Unity. Thank you for your concern but the .blend file is not at all an important feature in my asset. It's a door script, and I do need a door to showcase how it works don't I?

Asset store guideness is saying about it. For .blend files you need to .zip it, the same is for other files which are not typical for unity.
