Converting Bootcamp soldier to Mecanim
Is there any way I can convert the Unity Template Bootcamp soldier animations for my Third Person Shooter character. The Bootcamp animations are legacy and my character is humanoid. The bootcamp character has 4 more bones than normal to help with not having deformed arms when the soldier is animated but my character has a normal mecanim layout. Is there anyway I can convert the Bootcamp soldier animations to fit my character. Any answers would be appreciated. Thank you

It's possible, but not without a lot of work, I don't think. From memory, the Bootcamp character was pretty advanced - combining animation with dynamic scripting to determine leg placement on angled terrain, random head movement etc.
How would I do this. $$anonymous$$y character has foot Inverse $$anonymous$$inematics as well. I am willing to put in the work, I have been searching but can find no alternatives. Thank you for your quick reply. Thumbs up. Thanks
