Black screen before Splash Screen iOS
Im having an issue with my app. I build it to my phone and run it and, instead of the screen going to the unity splash screen, the screen is black for a few moments BEFORE the splash screen appears. Is there a way to fix this? Am I doing something wrong? I'm sure users will not like this. I guess this happens at the initial launch of the application. Please help!
Happens to me randomly—if a build does it, I can't find a way to make it stop. But the same build will have the problem on SO$$anonymous$$E devices and not others, see$$anonymous$$gly at random. Example: my previous build was fine on iPhone and iPad, but not on iPad Pro. Now this build has the problem on iPhone.
It's not a development build, and I haven't touched anything to do with splash screens. I have even scrapped the Xcode project and let Unity build it fresh.
This problem has happened intermittently in Unity 5.3 and 5.4 both.
As a result, I see barely a flash of the real splash screen.

Try adding a splash screen for the screen size you are building on. A blank screen is shown when there are no screen available to show.
Splash screens were added for all sizes already, and they do appear on the device--but randomly (at least in my case) a black screen appears at first, leaving just a brief flash of the image at the end of loading.
