Make 2D sprites adjust layers based on distance in a 3D World
So I have a game with a 3D world, but the characters are 2D sprites with multiple sprites for their animations that include head, body, etc. My problem is that if the player walks in front of them, their layers go through each other and it looks really bad. Is there a way to make their layers act more like 3D objects and know who's in the front?
