Export .anim clips?
Is it possible to export .anim files from unity so that they are open-able with Maya?
I have some .anim files that I got from the Unity asset store and the animations are great, but I need to make a few adjustments to them. I know Maya has it's own .anim file type (and one forum I read said they are the same) but I haven't been able to get any of my .anim files from unity imported into Maya. The script editor just says "Error: line 0: Error reading file."
I figured out how to edit the animation curves with Unity's built in curve editor, but I'd like to be able to do it in Maya as well.
I have the same problem. Basically, I'm trying to get the .anim files that I purchased to work in Unity 4, and I thought this process could be a workaround.
I've created several animations using Poser, exported in FBX, then in Unity I've created anim files and deleted FBX keeping only the pose FBX. Now I would like to modify my anims back into poser so I need export to FBX. How can I do ?
