Lego brick placement
I'm starting on a project that involves building with lego like building bricks. I want to make it where I can place the bricks like minecraft but more adjustable so that I can center the blocks on individual "stud" parts instead of just on the center of the block below it. I'll admit that I'm very inexperienced in scripting so I need some pointers on how I might go about doing this. Much thanks in advance
We ask that design/discussion questions be asked on Unity Forums. Unity Answers addresses single, specific technical issues. Note the reference to $$anonymous$$inecraft opens a whole can of worms since they build their 'blocks' using Voxels, and it is unclear if you will need Voxels or not.
