Realtime GI does not work when project is build in unity 2018.4.18
My scene's directional light works fine in the editor but when i build my project the directional light does not seem to work properly. Is this a bug or is it a common problem since i couldn't find any discussions related to this topic online.
Here's what the lighting looks like in the editor:

Maybe you have to adapt the Quality-Settings for the platform you build for?
It's in Edit/Project Settings/Quality
Also ensure that you select the wished Quality as your default one for your platform.
I have the quality settings adjusted and set as default for my editor view too, but i think the problem is with realtime GI that is not working at all when the project is build. How can i tackle this situation?
ok, strange idea, but according to this thread you could maybe try running Unity as Ad$$anonymous$$istrator.
Did you also get any errors in the log?
And did you try to generate the lighting or bake (or clear the bakes) before building?
Just some short ideas for now. Not sure, if anything could help...
yea i need to look into running Unity as ad$$anonymous$$istrator. i don't get any errors in the log and i've tried to generate light and bake multiple times, still no use. Also, i was starting to think that occlusion culling might be interfering with realtime GI so i cleared the occlusion culling and built again but realtime light still does not work, its getting so frustrating :(
