Why won't my scene play?
Whenever I try to play me scene the "must fix all compiled errors" message comes up. But when I go into the console and try to click on the errors, all there is is the stop sign. And nothing happens when I click on it. I've tried reinstalling Unity but It still won't work? It does the same thing in a completely new scenes with no related scripts?
Grab a script and make some errors in it then save it , then try look at the console.

try opening your scripts in monoDevelop and rebuilding them. If some error occurs try correcting it.
If it doesn't help try opening an empty scene.
If that doesn't help try opening a new project
then come back here and tell us your observations.
If I get rid of all the new Unity 5 assets then the scene will play, but I would like to use them why can't I?
Sorry for not responding, I was away from home.
$$anonymous$$y guess is that some of your assets got corrupted, you need to find them and remove them.
