Why have newly added character animations made in blender stopped appearing in unity.
Recently animations that I add to my character have stopped being imported to the model on unity. All the previous animations are still there and intact, only new ones seem to be effected. As you can see bellow, the animation I have created in blender called "Level1Falling" exists in blender, however does not appear on the animation Clips list in the unity editor. The animation cannot be found through a Manual search either. I have used the same process for making this animation as all my previous animations, and all the previous animations automatically added themselves to the editor. I think this problem started around upgrading to unity 4. It has been happening to all new animations made in blender. If I leave the animation as the default take, or update an existing animation, the editor updates.
Note: The new animations will appear if the model is saved as a different file. So in other words it seems that when I update an existing model it doesn't want to add animations that were not there when it was originally created. And it will add them to a copy of the model file.
