Matte Shaders
Are there any Matte shaders out there? I don't know a thing about creating my own shader and I looked nearly everywhere for one.

Diffuse is matte shader for what I know. Matte just means it does not consider lighting and only returns the color of the object. This is what Diffuse is.
EDIT: BUmped DIffuse may be more appropriate as it would also create relief without.
All you want to avoid is Specular which takes the specular map (or normal map) to reflect a certain amount of light based on camera and light sources.
Oh, okay. I never fully realised that until you pointed it out. Now I just feel dumb.
