How to make skybox transparent.
I am developing an ios application where i will give models to application using unity, and i want to run camera of idevices in background, so i want to know how to make skybox transparent, so that i can run camera in background, only model will be visible on top of camera.
You can't make the skybox transparent, because when selected, the camera is cleared to the skybox. There is nothing else in the frame buffer at the time the skybox is rendered. (Or, more precisely, the previous frame is in the frame buffer at this time). What would you expect to see behind a transparent skybox? Or do you just want to fill the frame buffer with alpha < 1 pixels at the beginning of each frame?

Actually you don't need to make the skybox transparent. What I think you really need is THIS. It will allow you to display only specific elements from a camera.
Personally I use this trick when I want to display some elements at the same place of the screen at anyh time for a first person shooter for example : a camera follows the player, and another displays only ammo, used weapon, ... The second camera displays only a specific layer and nothing else.
@kiraSensei Tried but not working, since native camera of iphone hides behind unity scene layer.
@kiraSensei my main motive is to put ios native view behind unity view
You need to change the depth of the cameras to put one "in front of" another, make them display first something and then only display something else.
