Web Player not install Unity4
I've attempted multiple times to install a web player using Unity 4 Pro Trial with no success. After 'build and run' my browser, Firefox displays a page instructing me to install the Unity Web Player. After clicking the download link, it displays a page telling me my Unity Plugin version is 4.0.0 and my Unity Engine Version is 3.5.6. Do I need to download a plugin V3.5 to make this work? If so where do I get a 3.5 web player?

Good try! But webplayer is actually working ok on my Windows 7. I downloaded the plugin on my PC when the app didn't run. It installed and ran properly with no adjustments to the firewall. The PC is running 3.5 still! This leads me to believe the problem is with Unity 4 which the Mac is running.

Very interesting.I opened a simple new project in Unity4 on the Mac and ran a simple scene. The web player opened and played the build. Begatts! What is the X-Factor here? The answer seems to be plugins or programs that extend Unity4. Jibe seems to have driven a stake through my web player. So thanks Azmat! I'm off to the metaverse for a chat with the Jibe people.
