Editor curves, wall running?
Hi, I was thinking about addint wall running to my game, and I thought that a good way of doing it would be using editor curves (if it's possible, I never tried doing those). So I'll try to explain what I want and maybe one of you will be able to explain how to achieve that.
So basically I will first tell you how I would want it to work, there would be a time value (the time that takes to complete the curve) and the curve that changes the y and z position/velocity of the player (I will use character controllers)
So when you start wall running, you would execute that movement over an x period of time (the var I referred above) and once you finish the curve, you would just keep falling with gravity.
So is this possible to achieve or will I have to write all the code to make that effect, because this seems like it would be an interesting way for me to tweak movement on wall runs. I use c# by the way.
