How to optimize the build game for unity webplayer?
Hi Everybody, I have build a game with 3 scenes, compressed texture. My game size is 30 Mb due to this size its taking 5-10 minutes time to load for play.
How can i reduce the loading time so that it play quickly? Thanks
I think the speed depends on the downloader and the amount of data your websitehost allows people to use. unity doesnt have anything to do with it.
You can use AssetBundles. Just split your game into small parts( e.g. by scenes) and download them as player needs them. For example you can make your main file with menu scene only, and when player chosed level - you starting to download AssetBundle for this level.

The build log contains the file sizes. Find the biggest, shrink it, repeat until happy.
You'll often find the size is not invested in something game critical
