calculate time to reach a target of rolling rigidbody sphere
Hi all,
This is a physics and maths question. I have a sphere rigidbody that rolls along the floor towards a target when I apply a force. And I would like to calculate the time (in seconds) it take for it to reach the target.
I've notice that the rigidbody slowdowns soon after applying the force and rolls towards the target. Tried dividing the distance between two objects by the rigidbody velocity magnitude. But it gives me the wrong result.
Does anybody know how to calculate the time to reach the target properly.
thanks for your help in advance
