What is the best way of handling an in-app purchase to unlock more scenes (Android)?

I have a game which I want to publish as free with the ability to upgrade to a full version. I would rather keep this as an in-app interaction rather than publishing two separate applications.

What is the best way to handle this from a technical perspective?

I simply wish to add/unlock scenes based on whether the user has paid.
