how to keep uv mappinng ?
hi i know it's a newbie question and i'm sorry but i'm building an object in 3ds max, and i'm doing it a uv mapping, then later i export this object to a *.FBX file, and just drag that file into my unity project, i put it on the stage and all good and well BUT it doesn't preserve the uvmapping i mean i create a new material in unity, giving it a texture (just put an image in it) and when i put the material on my 3ds max object it doesn't preserve it... it just makes it look like a big mess..
btw, my 3dsMAX file HAS UVMAPPING and the mapping is open ..
help ? how do i keep my mapping ?
