How to create a simple (2d?) exterior through a window for a 3d interor
My game is set entirely inside, but I'd like to have several windows that look outside. What is the best way to deal with what the player will see when they look out of those windows?
I'm hoping there is are some clever standard tricks short of creating an entire 3d exterior. The exterior would be a city street - so I think something more than a lightbox is required. Finally, I'd like to have lighting outside the window that comes into the room, so any solution would have to allow for that, too.
