Two dynamic rigidbodies that dont conserve momentum
Hi,
I have n 2D characters (if you will) that the player can move. I'm looking for them to have the following interactions with each other:
they should collide
momentum from collisions should not be conserved
no other physics effects
So far I have been playing with dynamic rigid bodies but I can't find a way to stop momentum being conserved when they collide. At the moment they act like snooker balls but i essentially want one of them to act as static when they collide (this isn't possible I think because they may both be moving).
Is there a way to model this in unity or do I have to roll my own custom collision logic? If so any thoughts on this?
Something that may help is if I could hook into the momentum aspect of the physics calculations and negate it but no idea how to do this.
Thanks for any help.
