Having Animator and Physics Play Well
Hey Guys,
I am struggling with a particularly annoying problem where I have a player ship which has many parts comprising it. This ship has an Animator Controller which animates the parts. On each part I've added a rigidbody and via code I am able to throw the parts from the ship when I enable isKinematic. However, this only works when the Animator on the ship is turned off. If on, results are unpredictable and make the parts jump and get stuck in place.
This problem is of great interest to me and any input on the matter will be greatly appreciated.
