Unity 3 Coming out?
Hi, When does everyone think unity 3 comes out? I just can't wait, and want to know when! I know pre-orders and betas are out, but I am waiting for the real thing!
We don't know. Unity has said Summer 2010. That could be tomorrow or sometime in August, or even September.
Given I've been playing with the beta for several weeks now, my guess is mid to late August. But again, that is purely speculation and I really don't know. The beta feels almost complete, but I would guess Unity spends another several weeks polishing up the final couple of bugs.
Hopefully they'd be squashing bugs and not polishing them :-P
Alright Thanks. Ya, I know what they said, but wanted to know what everyone thought! Is the beta good??? I am waiting for the free version. But I saw the videos, and it just looks amazing. Especially the lighting! Thanks for your opinion!
