SpriteManager 1, Set animation to single frame
Hello,
I'm using SpriteManager 1 (free), and I'm at a crossroads for this particular issue:
I'd like to change the sprite of an object a few times a "day", and I think the most efficient way would be to store each sprite as an animation and simply set the frame number I'd like to display. SpriteManager 1 doesn't seem to support this option, but I'd imagine I could code in a method in an afternoon.
The second option is simply loading up a new sprite in the manager and replacing the current one. I feel like this might be a little costly though, considering every sprite on the screen will be changing around similar times.
Am I missing something, or should I spend the time to add a new method to SpriteManager?
Thank you for your time.
