How to play video through HMD (HTC Vive)?
I'm working on a project where I want a video recording to play through the headmounted display during VR. Sort of like a "cutscene" so to speak. Currently, I have the video recording play through a raw image on canvas that is a child of the headmounted display (camera rig (eyes)). This works to some extent, but to have the video cover the entire field of view I have to change the dimensions of the canvas which stretches the dimensions of the video. Is there a better way to have video recordings play through the HMD? Basically, I want the video to cover the field of view of the HMD. Thanks for the help.
