Poly count limit for bump/normal map?
So, When baking the normal map of hipoly model to a low poly model, is there a limit to how detailed/poly count the hipoly model can have?

No...that's the whole point, that the normal map is baked, so the poly count is irrelevant since the high poly version is never used outside of baking.
Thanks, yeah I know what the process is all about, I guess what I was really asking was, at what point will it start to look funky. But I guess it doesnt really? Anyway, thanks for piece of $$anonymous$$d, just didnt want o go overboard with the high poly.
