Sprite's alpha visible with lighting
Hi, I just started experimenting with the new 2D features in 4.3, and I was really interested after watching one of the videos demonstrating lighting with sprites. I created a sprite with an image of a character I made and assigned it the Default-Defuse material so that lighting would affect it. Unfortunately, now the transparent space around my sprite is also visible. Here's what it looks like:
From the Unity videos I watched, I know it's possible to have nice sprite lighting without the transparent parts visible. What should I be doing differently?
I cannot reproduce this problem. The Sprite diffuse shader worked fine for me without showing the transparent space.
I think a see what's going on. It looks fine in the 2D view, but at any other viewing angle, you can see the whole rectangle. Any idea if there's a way to avoid this?
