Objects not showing in a network game
So i have been making a fps multiplayer game and its been working great up until i added my first gun. What happens is i connect and i can see the other player move, look around, walk, but for some reason i cant see his gun nor does it shoot. Any tips on what im doing wrong? It does have a network view and its parents also do.
So as you can see, in the heirarchy it shows all the children but in the project view all it shows is head and camera. So, when it creates in the network game, it only creates the head and the camera. Why is that?
How do you instantiate the said gun? Is it part of the player's hierarchy, or do you add it later?
yea its part of the player. But for some reason it wont show up in the project panel. Its a child of the weapons object which is a child of the camera.

If the gun is instantiated, make sure it is done with a Network.Instantiate command and has a network view on it, or it will only insantiate in the individual's game who the instantiation belongs to.
Hope this helps.
Thanks but im not instantiating it, its part of the player. But for some reason when the player is created, it only creates the head and camera not all of the children of the camera.

I'm not sure if this is too late... but if you created a script that disables the other camera... This means that the gun gets disabled as well. Rendering it as if there is nothing there.
